Quick! Quick! Quick!

Outcomes

  • Maintain Engagement: Keeps everyone actively listening, whether they’re participating or waiting for their turn.
  • Promote Presence, Energy, and Immediate Focus: Quickly naming items forces participants to focus on the present moment, making it ideal for shifting gears at the start of a meeting or after a break.

  • Reinforce “No Bad Ideas”: Celebrating quick, even off-the-wall responses underscores the importance of creative spontaneity—useful in brainstorming sessions or innovative thinking.

  • Connecting Teams: Group celebration fosters a sense of shared fun and participation.

When to Use

  • Meeting Kickoff: To transition attention from prior tasks.

  • Post-Break Refocus: To recharge the room or virtual call.

  • Anytime Distraction Strike: When energy dips or multitasking creeps in.

*Use QUICK QUICK QUICK any time you need an instant energy boost or to spark creative spontaneity in PwC’s fast-paced environment.

Instructions

1. Choose the First Player & Category

  • Example categories: “Colors,” “Types of Bread,” or even PwC-related prompts like “Client Industries.”
  • Emphasize speed over accuracy—the player must name 3 items as quickly as possible.

2. Celebrate the Response

  • The group shouts “QUICK! QUICK! QUICK!” once three items are named.
  • No Wrong Answers—absurd or inventive is encouraged.

3. Pass the Turn

  • The player who just named three items picks the next person.
  • That person receives a new category and does the same.

4. Continue Until All Have Played

  • Keep the momentum high.
  • In larger groups, active listening is key: non-participants stay engaged to cheer, respond, or give categories.

Time Frame

Quick Burst (2–5 Minutes): Typically enough time for everyone to have a turn, energizing the team without derailing the agenda.

Debrief

  • How did focusing on speed and creativity during the game help you approach problem-solving or brainstorming differently in your work tasks or team collaborations?

  • In what ways can you apply the energy and quick thinking from this exercise to stay engaged and focused during meetings or client interactions at PwC?
